Newbie from surrey

Hi all.

Just joined, thought I'd say hi.
Owned a mark 1 clipper for one year and 3 months, been off road a year though! Loads of fuelling trouble, no money, other car etc, so not bothered.
Finally got it trailered to someone yesterday. I've supplied a new weber conversion kit, accelerator cable and they'll MOT it and check it all works! Its close to mint, low mileage, resprayed 10 years ago in dragon green and still looks mint bar 2 stone chips.
Hope to join in the fun on this site, go to meets and shows etc, make a few mates along the way.
Won't do more than 5K miles in it a year I hope, even though I sold my polo last week - have a bike to cane too!
I suppose you never know who you're dealing with, so…. I'm a 36 yr old guy, no wife, no kids, like all things with engines and wheels!
Used to be into owners clubs years ago but I had a dodgy taste in cars then!
Any meets surrey/ south london area?
