Hi ,I know its not a Golf,but I,m quite chuffed with my new acquisation,bought off ebay for less than ?300  taxed and tested too!!

Just picked the beast up from oop North!! Felt like Hannu Mikkola all the way home    8) ,old girl cruised at 80-90 never missed a beat,GET IN!!excellent tow barge  for my MK1 tracker    

Got that rat look already with red oxide paint scheme all over ,might go matt black on the bonnet ,any one got a roof rack? never really had a car I could,nt give a stuff about, strange feeling!! :?  :?

I get that feeling whenever I'm coming up to sell a car. My poor old S60 was parked up all last week in front of a neighbors house that I don't like. I just left it there is annoy them! Time was I would have made a bit of space on the drive for her, I'll rest the Mk1 and give her a run this week.

Glad the car got you home in one piece, it's always a bit nerve racking in an unfamiliar older car.

Bit of a update on the old barge ,second hand set of Speedline splitrims,some new rubber bit of a spruce up

that needs a good buffing martin sort it out :mrgreen:

darn could off sold you the set in the bottom of the workshop off the boss' old quattro hes' got a v6 a4 quottro now been sat there for 10 years :?  8O
