new paint job...

had my mk1 golf gl two years now. came in regatta blue but the paintwork had definitely seen better days.. decided it was time for a respray last year so finally got it at the sprayers at the moment after a long time sanding back what was left of the paint!

chosen harvest moon beige (the new shape beetle colour) not too sure what others will think of the colour choice but i wanted an oldy looking colour to match the car instead of metallics and ive seen a couple of beige ones before that look spot on.
should be getting it back in a couple of weeks, and was just wondering if anyone has any tips to look after the new paint maybe a certain product that works really well??

also, if anyone has ever put their glass back in themselves i wouldn't mind some pointers on that as i expect it's a lot harder to put back than it was to take out!!

any advice or tips when it comes to putting your golf back together after new paint welcome please!
