New Golf TV Ad

Just seen it, pretty funny.

Don't want to describe it and spoil it for everyone just yet but what do you others think of it? Only refers to the mk1 in the tagline "The Original, Updated"

Yeah, I saw that one - evidently VW are trying to sue / ban it from further distribution….. fits in well with the "indestructable" polo theme of their current ads rather well though…..

I saw it originally here:

Along with some quite funny clips including "The Dukes of Holland" amongst other things

ex '83 Mk1 Golf GTi Campaign owner and missing it already!

That had me laughing out loud!  :y: I believe most people will find that quite amusing. I take the point about it being insensitive to people hurt and killed by these nutters, but it's a shame that isn't a real ad.  People can cope with that kind of irony and retain a sense of perspective.

Very nicely done too!

Very smooth, excellent ads from VW as usual.

Cheers,

Drew.

Always liked that music (very upbeat and happy), and the remixed version is (almost?) worthy of a release as a single.

Brilliant ad, as usual, - almost as good as the "Generation" ad.
