need to break in to my car

right, long story short i had to pull some stuff out my gti today. and i thought ill see if i can get her started, so i popped the bonnet. nothing, dead….battery charger on, she kicks over doesnt fire. ah well, so get out of car lock, passenger door, look drivers door, go to put bonnet down, thought ill have a look at the engine for anything obvious why it wont start, so put keys in fresh air vent area…. nothing obvious remove, battery charger, shut bonnet…..where are my keys….weak.
so could someone pm how to open the bonnet, without actually getting inside the car. im not smashing a window, or mullering the locks on it either.
and please pm me the details, dont want "this is how to get into a mk1 golf without keys" posted up on an open forum where anyone can read it.
and yes i am silly.
but please pm me the details on how to do this

no idea mate, so not much point in me replying, but cant resist….

I did summit similar a while back, but i just got my spares keys and all was sorted…

But a majorly big D'OH for you

wont put it on the net. ring a lock smith or any mobile mechanic they will have a set of lock lifts to deal with it.

just find a local chav pretty sure he will get in it  :wink:

i need them now, an im not paying someone to get them for me. my house key is on them  ops:  ops:  ops:        :mrgreen:

dont worry guys, problem solved, it turns out that if you jiggle the whaddya  ma call it next to the foo foo valve, then play around with the doofa, give it a bit of a wiggle, and so forth etc etc you can actually get to a way of opening the bonnet…dont ask me how, because i aint saying

Last time I had to do something similar, a long screwdriver through the grill did the job.

the doors are more than easy to get into did it myself when i snapped my only key!  :cry: and if people where lookin in here how to open a door on a mk1 they would have very short careers as car thieves me thinks. if you still stuck pm me.

Remove your vw badge off grill, then rest is simple, that was a comon known way back then when these cars 1st came out, there are others, but not putting them on net
At the end of the day if someone wanted to steal your car they could.
