as some of you may have seen me restoring my mk1 gti you will know its now finished and i want to drive it to germany. and do various events along the way ( driving through netherlands, belgium, luxembourg) to raise money for charity. i was wondering if there was any way of finding exactly where in germany my golf was made?. thanks if any of you know how to do this. i know it may be impossible but worth a try thanks guys

I think on your Serial number if it has a W prefix it's a wolfsburg built car?
