is any one here on myspace-i am and went into their car groups-their vw group is for vw owners and minis or something like that???

Rover owned Mini (from the Leyland days) and then ran into huge losses.  BMW bought Rover, had second thoughts and sold the company a couple of years later for the healthy sum of ?1 but BMW kept the Mini brand.  So, all the new model Mini's are BMW built.
