nice car mate, mk1's are always a grin to drive , sometimes go to visit relatives near altofts will keep an eye out for your car next time i'm in that area.

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

Yes I'd spent a few months looking, did a lot of driving around.

At first I was just relieved to finally have got one, I wasn't actually that excited about it. Now I've driven it for a few days I'm starting to appreciate it more, it just seems like it wants to be taken out on the back roads all the time, it doesn't like the rush hour journey to work.

It needs a few things doing to it, sunroof seal, steering wheel retrim, maybe a stereo. In fact I've started to get that carried away feeling like you do, looking for new seats, dash, etc, when it doesn't really need them!

I won't make the mistake of selling this one like I did with my old one, hopefully I'm going to be it's last owner.

when you say sunroof seal toad, do you mean it leaks? May not be the seal as it is designed to let water in and then drain through the 4 sunroof drain pipes.

Worth checking these are intact and not blocked! :wink:

Looking back on MK how hard were the faitalities to pull off?!
