My golf must know when I get paid . . .
I'm serious, got paid today, and just when I was looking forward to a month where I could do things I WANT to do to the car rather than things I HAVE to do to the car, it happened.
Got out of it ten minutes ago after taking it to the petrol station to fill it up, and that's when I heard it, psssssssssss, the sound of air coming out of a tyre so I know I'm going to have a flat when I get to it in the morning, great! 1 New tyre needed! Annoying thing is the tyre is only 6 months old, hardly any wear on it!

Mine was the same. particularly when it was a daily driver. As you say, always paying for things that have to be done rather than what you want to be done to the car!

Mike, my Dad had the same prob on a bicycle tyre, actually - turned out to be coal dust inside it!
Could there be sand or grit in there? :/
