Thats a tough nut to crack,have you considered setting your sights a lilttle lower just so that you are around the scene? worked for me did 9 years as a Aircraft Tech,tried to get into motorsport no joy,started as a tyre Tech(Fitter) at Avon tyres doing British Formula 3 after a season,had a pick of jobs including Touring Car,Formula 1 eventually plumped for Benetton in 94 did 7 years before settling in to the more mundane world of business development, basically if you are seen or being seen its worth more than a million applications!!! Good Luck

The best place to look for apprenticeships is the web

search "modern [insert preferred subject here] apprenticeships" and you should find one you like

How much did yours go down when you turned 18 mate?

i never had insurance in my name while i was 17, i was on my moms car as a named driver

im 18 now tho an it still costs me ?1300 an thats for a 1.3!!!!
its crazy but thats the cheapest i could find

thats 400 quid better than i had on a 1.1  8O

u might be right then mate.

but theres so many variables in it its stupid, i think they charge what they think they can get away with.

i hate insurance!!!!!!!!! grrrr

Wish I could go back in time and do a Motorsport appreintaship in the end I started one in a local Ford main dealer which I stuck at for 6 months!! 6 months of being a tea boy, treated me like a slave! all I did was PDI's clean cars and get food in, I felt so disheartened! :cry:
