My '88 Gti Cabbie

I just picked this up from my Stepmother, who's had it from about 3-4 years old.  It needs a new roof, and the alloys are pretty tired, but it's in pretty good nick for the age, and has only done 77k miles.  Just picked it up at the weekend, and already have a big smile on my face

Looks pretty tidy to me!  Very similar to mine.  Any ideas on what the new wheels will be?

Ooops, what a mistake to make! Thanks for pointing that out.

As the car is pretty original, i don't think i'll be doing anything too radical with the wheels - i'll see how much someone wants to renovate the ones i have, and weight that up against new ones, but i'd really like to keep it looking original for when i sell it…
