Mk1 T-Shirt 'Back to the eighties'
Girlfriend was shopping last weekend…
she found a 'Back to the Eighties' T-shirt with a Mk1 golf done up like the Back to the Future car.. how cool!! 8O but she didn't get it for me
anyone seen these before? REALLY sad I know but loved back to the future as a kid and REALLY want it! might have to go with her next time

Sounds similar to the 'Dukes of Essex' T shirt with XR3 done up like the General Lee. Did you see that one ?

Met a girl wearing a t-shirt with 'I Love Joyriding' and the front view of a Mk2 GTi.

'The Dukes of Essex' ones are for sale in my hometown, with the Mk3 Escort decaled up looking like the general lee. Pretty cool. They're ?20 a piece last time I looked.

Back to the future, awesome film (the first one was the best one obviously) I will admit to getting the DVD box set for Christmas a couple of years ago.
I always thought the mk2 Scirocco had a touch of the Delorean about it, minus the gull wing doors of course!

As I live in blessed Oxford I could pick it up for you Phil….. where is 'next to nothing' ??! Trouble is the flippin students buy all the trendy funky gear and laeve the townies with jack!!

My girlfriend would love you She's got a silver scirocco and says its the closest thing she can afford to the DMC , always looking out for a DMC grill badge at the swap meets so i can do a cheeky grill swap.
