Mk1's In Cornwall

Been out in mine today seen a red driver and a silver gti on the road.
 Trying to drum up some interest of a get together of Mk1's so I know
 your out there.
 Cabriaulait put a thread on hear a while ago but it just seemed to fizzle
 out. It is well worth us getting together just so you have got an excuse
 to have a fry up at Smokey Joes Cafe that's if you need an excuse that
 is. We would like a bit of positive feed back as just the two of us going
   wouldn't be right. Dates/times any ideas give us a shout on hear
 because you know it would be worth it in the longrun.
 We all know Crimbo is coming up but I'm sure we can sort out something
 in the not to distant future.

I'm in plymouth but my mk1 cab is off the road for winter. I will be bringing a mk2 back here after new year from my parents. Is smokey joes that place just over the bridge into cornwall? I think ive gone pst it on the way to newquay before

bristol was 440 round trip and ?50 in petrol,

when i get the cabby legal in the spring , no problems for smokey joes. got to stretch them mk1 legs and have a new hair style. Suprisingly how  one gets used without a roof.  I got bumps on my head from gettin in and out of the civic.

douge and cornwall people i will be leaving plymouth on sunday (we think the 14th possibly) for taunton.
so if people want to meet up at the marsh mills then go on up to taunton please let me know by PM or something.

also cabriaulait i know its alot im the same but you did go to bristol, a bit keen? lol its usually taunton the most for us down here, sometimes exeter then also i will be attending the cornwall ones when back on the road.

people from everywhere came to that one.

Si..I wont miss the civic al all, plastic peice of *****..lol.. Cant wait to get the Cabrio sorted in the new year.  All ready for the summer season. BugJam 21st birthday. so IAM going to that this year. Bugger the Raddo this time. .. Sounds promising the Taunton trek in January,I should be up for it if
   all is well .Cabriaulait, I would be happy to drive or ride shotgun to
  share the fuel cost. Perhaps in time more people might travel father
   south to make life easier for us. We won't give up on Smoky's just

There is an absolute mk1 golf nut in Camelford Cornwall.  He ownes the bike shop with his dad.  I bought mine off him, and if i remember, he had several mk1s out the back.  Think he's called Simon :?

Cabriaulait never realised you lived in truro, i suppose it does say so on your name, but didnt realise how far away from me it was. Doesnt take too long to get there though must admit, know a few people that live down there. and am actually coming down 2moro but not in golf which is a shame.
