I do miss it the look of it most, as soon as I've been through uni, im gonna find a campaign or get a 3dr mk1 Jetta from europe, a mk1 is just not practical at the moment my old one was a bit ratty and I don't have the funds to do one justice, but it is definatly not gonna be my last mk1 in fact if I can find a nice solid shell and a place to store it I'd have one now.

Lol "heard the owner was a right ****" well he didnt tell me that only the sidelights worked when I got it and I had to drive it back in the dark so i think that does make him a **** in my books, but I've managed to fix it now. I've also gota replace a wheel bearing and top mounts but I'm doing it myself so cost bout 30quid, then I'm gona replace anything worn up front and get it tracked. The clutch release bearing is a bit noisy but I knew when I got it, Mite replace it or hold out and sort the gt engine out instead, but thats gona be a mission mite have to wait. Then I'm probs gona sell the ats and put RSL's on all round, roll back arches, de arch it touch up paint and fabricate a custom side exit exhaust. Then hopefully I will stumble across a g40 engine in a scrapyard lol I doubt it!!
