Nice little article that… and for once no smart alec comments on the brakes! I love the way modern journo's are commenting how thin the A,B and C pillars are in the mk1 Golf compared to modern cars… when new they all complained that the Golf had poor visibility compared to rivals!

I was wondering about the trip computer…. 1800's only I thought. I had a late 1600 y-reg with the series 2 dash and a clock, but no MFA….

Definitely shouldn't be on a series 1 small lighter!

Perhaps it was an 1800cc car after all?
