Mk1 cab trashed in Die hard 4.0

In the chase scene, near the end, where Bruce is in the articulated lorry, He trashes a light blue cabriolet, you only see the top half of the left hand side of the car…. But it is deffinately a mk1 cab….. I am very very upset! It made worse what was already a pretty dreadful film!  :x

i havent watched the film but just imadgion how many mk1 cabs thay had to use to get the scean right  

I saw it last night and I must confess, I breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn't a tintop…..

… they probably destroyed several dozen tin tops getting the scene right before they used the proper car :wink:

Gutted they felt the need to destroy a Mk1 in the first place when there is plenty of Subaru's on the planet…

just watched it again and paused it and on my copy its a bit dark cant 100%make it out  its a convertible something with the roof down.  hope ya'll wrong and its an escort lol

I'm going to have to watch it see if its a golf cabrio.  It would upset me if its true !

It's original, I'll give you that Mr Wooders, funny in a sort of middle aged attempt at humour, results in disaster, kinda way.
