if its less hassle you are after then dont go for the Integrale. They are excellent cars but need lots of looking after. And when they do go bang, they go BANG!!
The Clio belongs to the wife by the way, she likes her cars to start first thing, blow hot air and have power steering. I would love to get her an 80's car but she likes her modern stuff I am affriad. We are looking at Mk3 Golfs however, so I may be able to get her to go for a Mk2 yet??
I am thinking along the lines of a Mk1 XR2 or Supersport at the minute. BUt I half promised not to buy any more cars for a while, so I will have to see. I also like 70's cars of course so there are more possiblities to join the Mk1 and 2 Escorts that live inside??
If I were to go for a Renault then it would have to be the older Gordini model. But they are very rare and also getting expensive these days. But never say never!
I also like Talbot Sunbeams and keep toying with a Lotus. SO lots of possibilities??
I was pleased to buy the Lancia plate, yes. It was also the most expsensive of the three I currently have. My Passat has "RS DAVY" and the Pug is just waiting until next week to have "A 16V BD" fitted. Got to have your toys!!
By the way, the Pug is actually a 2.0 litre 16V engined car and goes like bloody hell. It puts a right hooligan smile on my face everytime I drive it. Just wondering which one to take to Nurburgring in August now??
Cheers
