Cheers folks. I like them all for different reasons with none more than the other? But at the moment the 205 is top of my use list as its just an understated hooligans car, it goes like hell!!

The rain stopped off until about 4pm ish yesterday so I got a few jobs done. Where did all our sun go ???

You have all the cars i dream of (cept the clio) 8O . I want either a lancia or pug 1.6 gti for my second car. Which one is less hassle out of the two?

Rust isn't c##p, it's lighter than carbon fibre

Cheers for the comments!

if its less hassle you are after then dont go for the Integrale. They are excellent cars but need lots of looking after. And when they do go bang, they go BANG!!

The Clio belongs to the wife by the way, she likes her cars to start first thing, blow hot air and have power steering. I would love to get her an 80's car but she likes her modern stuff I am affriad. We are looking at Mk3 Golfs however, so I may be able to get her to go for a Mk2 yet??

I am thinking along the lines of a Mk1 XR2 or Supersport at the minute. BUt I half promised not to buy any more cars for a while, so I will have to see. I also like 70's cars of course so there are more possiblities to join the Mk1 and 2 Escorts that live inside??

If I were to go for a Renault then it would have to be the older Gordini model. But they are very rare and also getting expensive these days. But never say never!

I also like Talbot Sunbeams and keep toying with a Lotus. SO lots of possibilities??

I was pleased to buy the Lancia plate, yes. It was also the most expsensive of the three I currently have. My Passat has "RS DAVY" and the Pug is just waiting until next week to have "A 16V BD" fitted. Got to have your toys!!

By the way, the Pug is actually a 2.0 litre 16V engined car and goes like bloody hell. It puts a right hooligan smile on my face everytime I drive it. Just wondering which one to take to Nurburgring in August now??

Cheers

Very nice dave, i have seen it a few times on your drive as i live just around the corner from you.  Never seen it on the road yet though, is it your daily driver (the mk1)?  I have a silver campaign parked in the garage waiting for some serious attention at the moment.  Is it just standard?
