Meeting Charley Boorman. PICS added

I am hoping to meet Charley Boorman at the weekend to do a radio interview for local radio.  All provisional at the moment.  Anyone have any good bike related questions??   :dontknow:

Ask him what the longest time he has ridden for without a break! Also if Ewan Mc Gregor had ever ridden a bike before they did Long Way Round!! Me thinks not very often!

Scariest means, best means, worst means, most boring means, his favourite means of travel from the show.

Anywhere else he'll be going/would like to go.

Any tips on travelling for people wanting to follow in his footsteps.

Just trying to think of things that might be a little different. :dontknow:

Just going on from Novo there……

Something about his acting? Maybe if he has any plans or will he be going down the whole travel/adventure route.

Just throwing some ideas at you, feel free to ignore me.

as mrs L said above, we met him a while ago - not long after the long way down - I'd broke the same bone in my wrist as he did, we had a chat about it

very very nice genuine guy…

I'd be random tho and ask him things he's not expecting - nothing to do the trip

liek does he like Mk1 Golfs, whats his favourite film etc etc - just random

Looking forward to it now….Also just had confirmation from Charley.  The interview will air on local radio in North Cheshire and Merseyside area a week this Friday.  Details later.  Any further questions to help me out with??  What does anyone know of his racing team he ran?

How did he really feel about Mc Gregor's Mr's intruding on a previous trip and if she can now ride a bike.

I've met him a couple of times at Ally Pally bike show. He is a nice guy but to be honest don't ask him anything about Ewan McGregor as he'll be bored witless of all those questions by now.  He's done his own travels so ask him about those.

And to answer a question earlier - Ewan McGregor was a huge bike nut before Long Way Round. It was his idea, he even used to ride his bike to filming before they banned him during shoots. (He hadn't done much off road stuff though)
