when i was 20 i triued to get cover for my mate mitsi gto 3.0 twin turbo and no one would cover me  not a single one so i find it amazing he can for that.  but saying that i only contacted major companies and confuzed.com

its on his dads company insurance.

which means it cost him bugger all to insure!!!

well good luck to him when his ford goes wrong, i'm happy in my indestructible  little diesel mk1

My mate (20) gets his insurance free on his dad's work (MOT garage) insurance

Oh yeah, he pootles around in a 1976 Chevy Corvette with a 7.5 V8

And when it's wet he gets around in a V6 calibra.

Cant fault the guy and good luck to him, some of us hit jackpot in life and he has.I dont have a problem with people who get insured through their parents to get better cars.I would have loved to have owned a merc amg when i was 19.I di it the hard way and started with a mini my parents must have known i was gonna stack it thats why i took out my own insurance  :?

If hes worked for it fair play, at least he didnt get it by dealing drugs and shooting people!………….Im assuming he didnt anyway  :wink:

he runs/owns a car valeting company. just so happens that his dad owns a coach and bus repair company so guess who got the contract to clean them?!  :wink:

Good man, reckon im gonna go into this valeting business as a lad does it round here and he has just brought himself a ferrari 355 berlinetta and he is only 30 years old, thats one of his cars as well as a range rover 4.6 hse his weekday runabout  :?

I'm sure those modern Merc's aren't as reliable as say, ooo I don't know, a Mk1?
But then owning a Ford and a Subaru prior he must be used to the whole 'bits falling off and not working' thing LOL
