What VW events are people going to this year?  I fancy trying some out as well as the AGM in July???  Would be good to see other club members!!!  3rd April looks like the start for me and JellyBelly and no doubt others!!!  Enough of this recession stuff let's have a bit of fun… !!!  :mrgreen:

By the way look at the "drive your VW to work day"…. that could be interesting… everyone has to take a pick on the day  :mrgreen:

im having to cut back on all my shows this year as my new works building is open in april so ill be sorting that out this year and trying to get that to run smoothly, but hopefully will be able to make it to the agm with you boys again.

i'm off to dubfreeze and also stanford hall as i'm having a tool stand so come say hello and buy some stuff

Is the Stanford hall camping mate?
There aren't any in April near 25th - 2nd May apart from that.

For all those that don't know… if you book off 26th, 27th and 28th April you get 7 weekdays off.. a total of 11 days off for 3 days booked holiday… this is due to the May bank holiday and the Royal wedding…. Bank holidays galore!!!!

AGM and Volksfest Wales.

Jelly, there are at least 2 large classic car shows that are on the Easter weekend, both with camping……Weston Park Midland Festival of Transport is Sunday and Monday, and Malvern Classic Car Show is Mini Show on Sunday and Classic cars on Monday.    8)  8)

i'll pop along to dubfreeze too, but cars not going to be ready for atleast a month yet so i'll look into what else i can make it to as and when

apart from the AGM of course i'll push it there if i have too

i'll be doing a few this year , rough plan :-)

be up for getting members together an putting on a good show as always :-)

Ad this to the list in the opening post. It is by far the most convenient large show for most of us in South Wales.
It would be really good to get a better Mk1 (or even water cooled!) turn out there this year…  :dontknow:

Come on people stick some dates in your diary and we're off  8) .  I know Gammy will be in full flow organising so want to attend shows this year to back him up, show interest for his hard work and the club to be seen everywhere  :mrgreen: ….. plus…. it's loads of mk1's, fun in the sun and a break from the stresses of life…. BRING ON THE SHOWS!!!!!!
