Kenlowe Hot Start

Has anyone fitted a Kenlowe hot start?

I have had 2 sitting in the spare room for 2 years and realy need to get one fitted to the Golf.

If anyone has one, where did they put the power hook up.

Kenlowe hot start !

Brings back memories , i used to have one fitted in the late 80's to my Audi GT . Great bit of kit , remember to fit unit as low down as possible in the heater pipes  to avoid problems with air in the system .

As for the power take off i mounted mine under the passenger side front bumper using a waterproof quick release electric lawn mower connector . It was invisable from view and i used to have a simple timer in the garage that came on 1/2 an hour before i needed the car every morning .

Start her up and instant heat from the heater and max power straight away

Yes they still do them new, quite expensive bu it's a new design thats easier to fit.

Think they are arround ?230 but if your keeping a car for a few years the better fule economy may actualy offset that.
