hi, i'm haydn alias taffy goat and probably the grandaddy of all you at nearly 70, i purchased my 1990 clipper some 3 years ago when i retired and have been to the last two agm's.
now i am planning to do
1.. charity drive from john o'groats to lands end in aid of macmillan nurses(macmillan cancer care)
2.. and secondly to meet as many of mk1 owners as possible on my journey.
from the 20th july i will leave jog and head down the A9 towards stirling / falkirk and stay the night there
21st july down motor ways to preston and stay the night
22nd to the agm at uttoxeter until the 24th
24th from uttoxeter to bristol/ taunton stay the night
25th from bristol/taunton to truro area stay the night
26th from ruro to lands end and back to truro
27th back home to south wales.
whilst doing this i would appreciate some assistance in the event of any problem with the car, mind you i am in the aa,
if any volunteers then if you pm me with your location and tel number/email.
also if people are not going to agm then they can pm me or email me to say they can meet on the way, i wll post a full itinerary and route later.
i will be making a photo album therefore if you are planning to meet me on the way or at the agm can you bring along a signed photo of your car
thanks all

On 21st July, where are you staying in Preston? There will be a few of us driving down to Uttoxeter on the Friday morning so we need to sort something out so we can go together.
