At last, a year after taking my mk1 off the road its finally back. I started really starting to go off golfs after having nothing but troble with the run-about mk2. I'am so glad now tho that i kept my mk1 as it handles better, is more fun to drive, sounds nicer and is just 100times better.The only bad bit are the brakes, the mk2's were much sharper. Now i've gotta hope it passes its MOT tommorw and then its bodywork time. Dont suppose anyone has got a pair of blue seats for sale or rear passenger door?

Mine started for the first time in a year recently, and it was definitely the point where I stopped hating my Golf and started to think I was almost there.
