It sometimes pays to go low

I must share this with you….

A few weeks back I went to visit an old friend of mine, we were going to have lunch and do a spot of shopping.

Anyway I parked my cabrio in what I thought was a reasonable spot in town (there were other cars close by) and we went off to have lunch…

When we returned some time later, to my suprise there were a group of rather miffed looking peeps wondering around sighing.

Anyway, it turned out we were all parked in a clamping zone - needless to say no one saw any signs (bl**dy typical)

Every car (4 in total) had been clamped, all……..but mine!

I couldnt beleive my luck and tried to work out why my old car had been left, and the others all clamped - maybe the phantom clamper felt sorry for my lill motor, or maybe they saw me park and felt sorry for me, or maybe they just had 4 clamps but maybe just maybe its coz their big yellow clamp couldnt fit around my tyre under the arch! (you cant even get a little finger between them) Who knows…

Needless to say I didnt wait to find out! *giggle*

what a shame that poor little clamper person didn't get all his money that day just because some inconsiderate being had a car they couldn't get a clamp on. their poor little sixteen children won't have had their portion of chips between them as they earn so little money

*makes mental note to see if cabby can go lower and still make the speed bumps if not must buy bigger tyres*
