Is this what parts are worth now?

Hello Guys,

Thought i'd take a look out for some parts needed for the old MK1, New years resolution and all that.Taking a look around Ebay and stuff like a gearbox engine mount is up for £64! Is this what stuff is changing hands for now or have the chancers on Ebay stepped the value up a notch. All the little bits and pieces which you could rely on Ebay for a while back seem to be well over priced.

I think it's a case of just non stop shopping around and looking constantly.

I takes me months sometimes to buy a part, big or small but I will not pay over the top.
OK, if it's a part you need to drive you to work the next day, well that's different.

I've saved a pack by just bidding what I'm willing to pay for it and not being disappointed to much if I don't win.

Also check out eBay.de
I've bought a number of items there and got some really great deals but a word of warning, watch out for the postal costs from Germany.
They also often say that they will not post abroad but you'll be surprised how often they will if you write to them and ask!
