Seems to launch into a bit of attack on prospective buyers who ask for receipts to prove the engine rebuild.

The car isn't for sale, he wants to swap it for a 16v MK1 with an MOT. I just thought he was silly getting rid of that lovely looking campaign.

He must be kicking himself coz from memory the 1st time it was up on eBay bidding did reach around ?2k!

I was more referring to the text on the ebay ad. Starts to go into bit of a rant about people not believing the car has had an engine rebuild because he has no receipts. Seems only reasonable to ask for receipts. Bidding is now up to ?51, although he say he wll only swap it for MK1 16v.

Car does look good in photos, but you'd have thought it would have sold long ago  :dontknow:

The MFA may we working properly but all the VDO guages are missing! The window is down 2" on the passenger side and plenty of oil marks on the tarmac.

You'd thought that if he car was that good he would of dropped a 16v engine in his own car!

I know the guy who owns this, he had a really nice Campaign before with a 2 litre 16v Corrado lump in, it was all lightened and balanced with alot of really trick bits on it and the car itself was really nice too, he had it a few years and then sold it to buy a E30 325i, but hated that so bought the black one, it looks immaculate, but ive only seen it once, and i think hes after more power but spent all the money buying a better car. In all fairness to him, it really looks a gorgeous car, but we've all done the dame thing, sold, then regretted it straight after, its about his 5th mk1 too.

Not sure if someone is winding him up, but despite him stating no bids its now up to ?580 with 31 bids....
