is it or not a mk1 golf?

my daughter and i saw the latest twilight movie last night and we are not sure if we saw a mk1 golf?

in the film does jacob (ware wolf) drive a red mk1? first you see it in his barn when he starts to do the scramble bikes up and the a few more times in the film.
