Insurance Payout for "My Poor Little Car"
If you have read my post in this forum titled "My Poor Little Car" you will know what I am on about. Well I have just got the assesors report back and he has said that it will cost 4500 euros to repair, and that the pre accident value of the car was 3950 euros, RESULT. the car only cost me a P reg Clio 2 years ago, and that car cost me nothing as i got it as a none runner off a mate. So the insurance company will have to pay me the valvue of the car plus loss of transport, and have to pay for me to get back to the UK to get another right hand drive. Just to top it all off, i get to keep the car for 300 euros, so i can keep the new hood, gearbox and all the other little goodies that took me ages to find. So if anyone out there has a nice little Karmen GTI cabby for sale, give me a shout.
