i want a mk1 golf van any1 selling theres i hav just sold my golf gti and am now after a mk1 golf van

Weird how he was offered ?300 yet the auction only went up to ?100.

1. The guy who won it for ?100 and potentially won't get it, has a right to be very peeved!
2. The guy who's offered ?300 will probably walk once he's seen it - its worth around ?100-150 at most, I've seen it in the flesh and given it a good going over.

If you really want a van, and don't mind doing what will be a good amount of restoration, including replacing some panels and a lot of 'tidying up' of previous poor quality work, then there's nothing wrong with it. Don't delude yourself you'll be able to drive this one away (safely) though.
