Bought a Golf last night, Mk1 5 Door in a bronze colour (well it hides the rust better) 1500 GLS.  Pics to follow tonight…

Mate, you have no idea how happy I am  

Does need quite a bit on it, Sunroof, sills (need tidying), bulkhead is solid but needs a tidy up, front scuttle, inner front wings, needs new front doors….

On the plus side she drives and is amazingly solid underneath.  Comes with shed loads of spares, is what I was looking for and she was a bargain too….

I am going to finish my 58 Beetle, and in the mean time buy up parts at the VW shows ready for the resto over the winter, and ready for early next summer  8)

Plan is to cover the resto in a thread on the forum if that would be cool?

Fair play, yeah get some pics up in the resto section and keep us updated of your progress and work when you start!

should be an easy task for you though after doing a 58 beetle  8O must have been some job!
