I'm so proud of my 22year old Golfy Cabrio

My lovely 1.8 GTI Cabrio.  At the moment shes seems forever in and out the garage but I put it down to old age bless her.  I'd love to get a 'Big Bumper' but couldn't bear to part with her.  I've had Golfy for 2 years now had a bit of work done on her, shes a local Torbay car and has been untouched by boyracer hands !! Hoping when shes fit and well again to get to some of the local Mk1 owners club meets.

Great cab - I prefer the small bumper cabs - even though I have a large bumper '90 GTI !!

That looks a very clean, straight and well looked after car - how many 'new' cars will ever look like that after 22 years ???

Yep a small leak that I think is through the top middle of the PASSENGER window !!  The tape works well !!  Shes still not back from the garage, been told its the cam … ?

Mine too was a local car, owned by an elderly couple until 4 years ago, then by another person for one year until I brought her 3 years ago.

The small bumper varients are becoming an increasingly rare sight now, and I think they really suit the car! Keep it, cherish it, love it!!
