I have always wanted one now I have one. Yay!
Since then I've had a 1.9 Diesel Renault clio (cant belive I just admitted that) ,
a Honda civic 1.6i (more fun than you'll believe but dont tell anyone!)
And an Alfa 145 cloverleaf (fast, luxurious, different styling, and no fun!)
I have always wanted a MK1 so I've taken the plunge and gone back to the old school and invested in a black X reg 1.6 gti. Rude.
There is alot of work needed for my Mk1 (not named her yet). I am on a budget as I am a student so its a case of more time and effort than cash spent.
She cost me ?800. A running project with MOT. She is mechanically sound she just needs some TLC to bring her back to former glory.
So here I am,
Project Golf begins……..
If anyone can help I need the folowing parts: Ok here we go there is quite alot!
The interior:
Front and rear seats appropriate for year ( She currently has mk2 seats)
Parcel shelf and plastic side supports.
Boot carpet.
Trim under glove box what covers fuse box.
Door card speaker jobbies
The exterior:
Single headlamp grill with red border (She has a tatty campaign grill).
9 bar wheel ( my spare is missing)
Thanks for viewing
