I Hate Logging Onto This Site....

…everytime I do, I want a mk1 golf soooo bad
shame I haven't got the funds at the moment to get one (just graduated from university, and getting a graduate job in Automotive Engineering is so hard at the moment )

sorry for a pointless post, but just wanted to show my love for one the best cars ever!

hopefully soon I will be able to own a beauty and fulfill a dream from a very young age

i had the cupra 8v they a nice motor had mine for 4 years but i know the feeling i would off swapped in fact i would off broke the fingers the pace i'd off taken keys from them

I need a car to get to work etc, so cannot do that at the moment, have asked a few people for swaps

yeah don't get me wrong, lovely car, have had it 2 years, but to me my heart is with a mk1 (better not disappoint me when I get one lol :p)
they are quick, rare, and my one is in very good nick mechanically and body
but I want a mk1 lol

Get yourself to a meet mate and check them out.  Better going and asking for advice as people are willing to tell you about them.  You never know… if you're a licensed driver with fully comp insurance someone might let you test drive theirs in time  :dontknow:

thanks mate, na I have driven one, and I loved it, I meant more living with it daily
also who is good for insurance? I am 22, 1 years NCB (coming up to 2) no convictions etc, my car is insurance 14, but I struggle to insurance a mk1 gti :dontknow:

and when I tried Footman James, they said not until I am 25 for classic insurance  

yeah footman james is who I use and get my members discount.

Not sure on that mate have a look at the insurances on the members pack… it might be worth buying a membership if it knowcks enough off the price for joining.

thanks, but no point in me buying a pack if they turn around and say "sorry not until you are 25"
will try a few places see where I get with them
