Yes all you need to do is give all your details away so they can be sent to different companies including Credit Card details….!!!!! Then convince your mates to do so too.

I don't think I will be signing up lol.

This does actually work.

I got a free ipod touch from doing this referral thing. It was last year, there was one offer where you could sign up for lovefilm (2 week free trial) and cancel it at the end of the week, the people who signed up wouldn't get charged and you would get your referral.

Bare in mind it does take a lot of work as people are cautious of it. But you do have to put a lot of work into it. Start off by asking your family members (from different addresses) to sign up for easy referrals.

There is also a forum community and people solely get their freebies by doing this referral system you can find them at http://www.freebiesociety.com and http://www.thefreebieexchange.com/ to name a couple.

Good luck!

PS. Im not lying about the amount of work it takes and if you write this off as a scam you really are missing out.

Thing is you can get these for free. I am a living example of this. I didnt pay a single penny for my ipod touch, from this referral program. The only thing it costs is your time and a bit of hard work.

I mean you could spend some money to get a website going if you wanted to do it as a constant thing, but there a forums around where you can trade referrals for free.

The bad press comes from people who have tried it and are either too lazy or stupid do do it.

It works like this -

You need x amount of referrals for an item, this can vary depending on the item it is.

To get those referrals you need to refer people to certain offers the freebie website has. More often than not they will have free trials that people can sign up for and cancel before it ends. But you still get the referral.

As these people have signed up they can then go about getting their free referrals. Following the same system you did.

These companies can give away free items, and make a profit, as they get a cut of money for every referral a person on this system makes. This money comes from the companies giving the offers for referral points. As it is basically an incentive driven advertising program.

Its incredibly annoying when people call this a scam as I know for a fact that it isnt. Do a bit of research, look at the 'freebie' forums and you will see. A lot of the bad press comes from people being too lazy and expecting a free item to magically apear.

No problem G60RGE. But I can't stress enough that it does take a bit of work. It took me a couple of months as it was the first time I had done it. I was a bit sceptical at first, but after researching about it and then actually doing it I was very pleased with my Ipod touch, costing me a grand total of £0.
Ill be more than happy to help you out btw, just send me your referral link.

Now Now. Im sure we can all read!

This is just a very dark area. For me and me alone, this is the first time I have heard good press about this sort of thing. My troulbe is, one of my friends is a manager for Orange ( who are just merging with another company ) and a very close friend of mine, his brother works for Apple! Now both these people have said these companies have only every done this sort of promotion once and it was many moons ago! There were little companys started up that took advantage of the refurals and gained a lot of free gifts, hense why they never did it again. These companys gained data from other people ( like us ) and offered free gifts in return for your details. Your details are then sold on for prospecting! Thats why you have to have a certain amount of refurals before you get your gift. You have to submit personnel details to get the gift.

Now if you had a part for sale for a Golf and some one turned up to buy it, you would sell it right?

Now thats what these refural companies do! They dont check who they sell your details to. Banks, Water Board, Next, CROOKS, FAKE COMPANYS WHO CLONE DETAILS, PEOPLE COMING OVER ON FALSE PASSPORTS. They just want the money! Its how they make a living!

Even the bank tells you not to put personnel deatils in your computer unless YOU have enough security on it.

If its that good we would all be doing it and there would be no reason to by these expensive items. We would just refur each other because its safe to do so.

Just my opinion!  :D

my thoughts are dont bother :)

if you want something enough go out and buy it, if your not prepared to buy it you clearly dont want it enough

even if your skint you'd still find away of getting the money for it

a few saying i like to live by

"nothing in life is free"

"if it's to good to be true it normally is"

you tend to here 90% bad press against these things, this bad press is for a reason

you say all it takes is time and alot of effort, well time cost money so you've paid for it somewhere with the time you've spent,

your better of earning the money, a few hours extra at work, a job on the side for cash. clear out your wardrobe on ebay (just done this and got £200+) and for tho's who know me I'm not the most fashionable :lmao:

at the end of the day out of 10 people someone will away swear about one of these things

i'm with other 9 people, time could be better spent elsewhere
