Hobbies and activities outside VW

Just wondering what anyone does outside of the Golf scene. Any sports, hobbies or interests?

I'll start, I play hockey for a local club every saturday, I enjoy cycling and agriculture particularly dairying.

Snowboarding, skiing, telemarking, wakeboarding, road tripping in the Golf, music festivals, writing a novel, writing my blog, exploring the world, and attempting to learn French (bloody hard!). I'd love to say learning acoustic guitar but it's been sitting in its bag for about three years now…

Keeping chickens (currently trying to fit electric doors to the hen house).
Live web cam is next on list, followed by fully automated watering system.

But most of my "spare" time is spent with the children / family etc or fixing my pile of old cars.

I like phototgraphy and DIY, but most of my time is taken up with general family duties and activities!

I think surfing ebay can be classified as a hobby. I spend an average of about 45 mins per day - I'm quite good!

Spare time, your lucky. The Golf is our real hobby. But we do run in large social curcles with friends and have some close friends who are part of a local air cooled club in Nottingham. We enjoy camping and spend a lot of time at Santa pod! Also enjoy a good curry, a few tins of beer and a good film. Or Summer, most nights BBQ in the garden!

Err, surfing ebay too  :redfaced:

Not a totally separate hobby than tinkering with my old Golfs, I often spend spare time trying to keep a mates old Landrover and Minis on the go.
