hit and run

last week i got up and saw it was a nice dry day so i thought i would go for a little spin. stopped in at a friends for ten mins came out and someone has drove right up the side of the car then just disappeared.how mad am i.

I know exactly how mad you are. The same thing happened to me the other week. Parked up fine, went back to my car and some 'BLEEP' ad decided to scrape down the corner of the bumper.

I haven't got the heart for it right now. When I eventually get the spirit I might take some pics of my efforts. Just to make it more interesting for me.

It's annoying because I'll never know who did it but I I found out I'd finish the job.

Yeah, finding out who messed your car will be near impossible.  But knowing who will fix is more often than not certain.

probably just the local body repair shop "drumming up" business!

Had a really good look at it this morning and it's not good. The impact looks like it's bowed and bent the bumper so when you look at it head-on there's a bump under the headlight. I'm gonna have to try and mold the plastic back in to shape before I can even think about filling and painting.
