HELP NEEDED- vw expert in oxfordshire

hi there, i am looking at buying my first golf and was looking for some help. im looking at buying a golf from london, problem is it will be my first and was wondering if somebody with some vw knowledge could accompany me to view the car. sorry if this sounds cheeky but i dont want to buy a death trap. i live in bicester in oxfordshire so is there anybody fairly close who could help?

knee's do not have carpet burns and the screws were brass ones in chipboard……..
