Just wanted to introduce myself!!
I'm Mark nicknamed Greena, 30ish for East Sussex.
I have been restoring my 1600 GTI for the past 18 months and its now 90% ready(well 80% if I am honest)
Its looking good and feeling even better - espically now the summer is almost here.
I've been through my teenage and twenties lowering golfs and mod'ing them - and now in my thirties I've now decided to appricate the orginal hot hatch as standard - aploigise's for painting one MK1 bright yellow!!
Glad I have found a site the is solely for MK1's - the orginal and still the best.
