Have I been dewipered?

I have a 1982 1.6 gti and she does not have a rear wiper.  :?

Have I been dewipered as all the golfs I have seen circa 1982 have rear wipers? I?m just a little puzzled and thought I would ask out of curiosity.

Just wondered kinda like having no rear wiper.
I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

All MK1 Gti's had rear wipers. I think ?? that some basic spec MK1's didn't - but Gti's yes
