HAS ANYBODY SEEN MINE?????

I Live in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
My mk 1 golf driver was stolen the friday before xmas(what a xmas present that was).
The police said it was seen in a crime in selby north yourkshire that friday night.
i will try attach some photos, but it had different wheels on and clear rear clusters(which i only fitted the friday afternoon).


the wheels that were on the car when she was abducted were 5 spoke plain alloy colour.

please help…..

Sorry to hear the bad news. you say it's been used in crime I'll start looking in the country lanes possible it's been dumped by now I know Selby a big place, all the best of luck.

No way mate cant beleave some thieveing B******* has done this just before xmas but they are out there. It makes you want to stone them to death eh? They (the government) should introduce a new law letting the owners of stolen/broken into cars to decide the punishment for the theives

I have had the call from the police and they have found her, she was parked in a car park in selby with no wheels and no brake discs…….

The door is damaged and the steering column and ignition barrel are damaged.

they used her to steal a couple of thousand pounds worth of cigs….

im just waiting to hear from the insurance now…..

I live 7 miles south of Selby I havent seen it but if I hear of any wheels for sale locally I will let you know - sorry to hear about that tho looks a well tidy car - I had one knicked years ago and got it back in one piece minus the stereo / cd changer and trashed door and ignition lock oh and had a set of ATS cups knicked out of my parents garage  8O

I saw that car on ebay ages ago and thought of buying it. Its a 1.3 driver if i remeber and the near side door was red inside. That should make it fairly unique and easy to spot unless you repainted. I'm really sorry for you cause that car had real potential. Best of luck getting her back.

Good news, sort of at least you've almost got her back. What are your insurance saying? Are they going to cough up to get her sorted or are they going to try and fob you off with the usual wad of readies?

Good luck with it and I hope the Police find the gits that stole it, why didn't they just jack an Astra.

No i wont let them scrap her, i might have to take the readies and then buy her back from the insurance, see what they say first…..

Hopefully get the wheels back too, north yorkshire police rang me on the tuesday and told me he might know where they are and asked me for a full description…..
