halfords....

anyone else seen the mk1 haynes manual key rings in halfords? - yes i know they are the worst kind of parts supplier but i only went in for wipers and ended up coming out with a key ring ….
just thought you all might like them:

There's similar tax-disc holder too, which I had to buy cos I'm sad.

i saw the tax disc holder and was tempted… but mines a cabriolet so felt the "but its not the same as your car" comments from a key ring would be more then enough, let alone from a tax disc too.

i think its a rather cool line in products frankly.

ops: I didn't buy either because it's a 5-door with GTI badge.. no no no no no :roll:

German market cars were available as 5 door GTI 8)

i did my checks before i brought one with my ex. boss as he is serious about his mk1 and he said it was, as we odd balls into comics would call it "cannon"

im sure you dont… the excuse is that the camera adds 10lbs.. and if that 10lbs happens to be added all to your chin then….

my mum says its all puppy fat and ill grow out of it!

that keyring is either being held up by Jimmy Hill ,or its my Mrs doing a handstand..

that reminds me.. a young woman was a boxing fan so she had 2 tattoos done on the top of her thighs 1 was Mike Tyson the other was Frank Bruno,
one night she went out and met this guy they went back to her place and she stripped off and said what do you think of those? after some thought the guy said I'm not sure who those 2 are but is that Don King in the middle?

Have to agree there Phil, but the wife didnt know the difference and I've got the coaster set (6) in a tin, the Mug, the air freshner, and the keyring…
Bless her, was a present for me/car from the wife…

I was in debenhams in hull last week and saw the haynes bags. dropped all my missus shopping, grabbed my wallet and launched myself at the stack of bags like a kid at the door to toys'r'us! they had loads of fords, 1 camper, 1 beetle but no golf!! put my wallet away, picked up my now angry missus' bags, appologised to the shocked looking sales assistant and left the store feeling very let down!  :cry:
