GTI on autotrader - 55,000 miles

dont know weather its geniune but for a grand its well worth a look. had respray etc, looks fair clean. in west yorkshire, south im guessing cos its in my 30 mile radius. im only telling you guys instead of going myself cos the insurance turds wont touch me on a GTI  maybe next year

Its 28 miles from me    In west yorkshire, but i dont think ive got a spare ?1000 to spend on one  

if it's genuine it would be worth getting a loan and selling it on for a profit (although if it was me I'd probably end up keeping it!).  :wink:

Its close to me also and Ive had shifty at it on the trader website but not sure if its worth a grand looking at it - MK2 seats, big bumpers on an X plate so presume prob a 1.6 ???

im itching to have a gander myself guys, if its genuine milage, its a bargain. as i said i realisticly cant entertain it,nearly the entire contents of my garage have just gone to the tip to make way for another mk1!! :mrgreen:

looks like it has been messed with a bit. i would be wary of mileage, my speedo says 456 miles! i doubt thats genuine, would be nice, but i will be changing the speedo tomorrow and it will read 145k! once bought a mk2 gti with 38k on it, turned out to be a real dog and wasnt gen miles.

that said for a grand it looks a bargain anyway its in wakefield

1.8 on an X, so obviously not original or correct engine and unlikely mileage is genuine :roll:
