Gti Mk1 1982 for quick sale

I wonder whether anyone can help me.
I've got a Mk1 Gti which I would like to sell quickly.  I'm not an expert but its a 1982 which is all oringinal except for a respray and a refurbished 1.8 engine we fitted couple of years ago.  It has about 115k mile on it and it was my daily runabout until last summer.  Unfortunately it had a head gasket failure before christmas (AA said) and with the tax and insurance  I can't  afford to keep it running anymore.

I don't want much for it but it would be nice to sell it to someone who would give it a good home.

Can any of you guys give me some advice on how to sell it?
(not too sure about Ebay!)

Are you able to post some pics up here, with a bit more info like your location, colour of car, price etc.. You may well get some interest here as always people looking.

Ebay can work, you just gotta have your wits about you!

I'd recommend sticking an ad in the For Sale section on this site - its bound to be of interest to someone. Not sure on value, but if you can post some pics in the ad then it always helps.
