I have been fighting myself so as not to buy GT4, but its getting really REALLY BAD NOW, that for the last two days I keep hearig it in my head "GT4,GT4", and then someone goes and posts something like this !!! :roll:
Looks like a trip to The Game shop tomorrow for me now then….

I've given in! looks like I'm going to Dixon's Friday to buy a PS2 and GT4! It's those voices….I've given in to them!
I think there is a PS2 emulator in development but don't think it will be out any time soon :dontknow:

It's a free simulator you can download. Haven't tried it for a long time, some of the physics on some cars seem quite good. Only down side (when I last looked at this) is there was only a basic AI for racing, otherwise it's a case of just dirving around on your own! :cry:

I like the fact that the MK1 is only 955K and the new beetle is 2271k
Even in cyber world Mk1's weigh less
Most of that extra weight is from the enormous dashboard

You have to buy a new GTi of some sort, then win the GTi cup race in the VW races section. You can do it over and over to get mk1's in different colours.

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

anyway its amazing how much my driving improved when i drove a lhasa green MK1, didnt touch the barriers once!
