gt4

iv just recreated my mk1 golf in gt4 in white with the same gold bbs wheels and even the right engine mods on my original mk1 the game says 189bhp but im thinkin more 150bhp the game is brilliant if you have a ps2 its a must folks

Did you have to put this post up! right now I'm finding it REALLY hard NOT to buy myself a PS2 with GT4 and put the money to good use on the actual Mk1   …

Maybe I can sneak a PS2 under the TV without the other half spotting it!

  I've given in! looks like I'm going to Dixon's Friday to buy a PS2 and GT4! It's those voices….I've given in to them!

I think there is a PS2 emulator in development but don't think it will be out any time soon   :dontknow:

It's a free simulator you can download. Haven't tried it for a long time, some of the physics on some cars seem quite good. Only down side (when I last looked at this) is there was only a basic AI for racing, otherwise it's a case of just dirving around on your own! :cry:

Most of that extra weight is from the enormous dashboard

You have to buy a new GTi of some sort, then win the GTi cup race in the VW races section. You can do it over and over to get mk1's in different colours.

you have to win the gti cup in vw events but its a gamble on what colour you get iv got them all and modded the differently and they are actually pretty quick in the game i thought they were going to make them slow and crap

So has GT4 incorporated the rear wheel lifting off the ground on cornering for the Mk1?

i spent most of last weekend playing gt4.and driving the MK1.It might just be my driving style but the back end is realy rather twitchy,something that shouldnt happen on a MK1! my other gripe is the lack of a proper in car view. it either feels like your driving about a foot above the road or with your head pokeing out the sunroof!
anyway its amazing how much my driving improved when i drove a lhasa green MK1, didnt touch the barriers once!

Well.. Brought my PS2 today! guess what I'll be doing when I finish work    (at 10pm though )

8)  There's no denying the GTI rules, but I'd have the mk1 c petrol VS the mk1 c diesel in a race…BRING IT ON! :twisted:
P.s - I think I'll be giving into the GT4 aswell & that's coming from a girl!
