Golf GTI stolen in Dublin, Ireland
My brother's GTI was stolen last night from outside his house.
If any of the Irish members here see it, can they let the Gardai know where it was seen.
Because the market for Mk1 parts is so small here, you UK-based guys might see it (or parts of it):
1983 Lhasa Green GTI w/steel sunroof - reg no. MSI 426
G60 engine, loud stainless steel exhaust
15" steel rims from G60
Driver's seat black leather and suede Recaro from Golf Rallye, passenger seat original GTI item, no rear seats fitted
No GTI wheel arch trims or side stripes
Rear tailgate de-badged and de-locked, but has nasty dent from a heavy item falling on it, near the wiper.
He's pretty browned-off about it, because he's done a lot to it, and has owned it since 1991

Car thief's should have a digit cut off (actually cut the whole hand off!) especially when it's a car that's clearly had alot of work put in!
hope you manage to get it back without damage and in one piece.

It's been almost a week now, and it hasn't shown up being raced by kids, etc, so it was probably taken for parts. Please keep an eye out for Lhasa green body parts, and G60 engine parts.

could still have been raced and left somewhere in a field or something (well I hope so anyway!)

 You'd think the parts would have to be advertised somewhere like eBay if the market in Ireland is so small, so I'd say there's a good chance it's still in one piece…good luck finding her
