Private land innit?

you need to find out if the land is private or just no-mans..

if the latter then take a trailer and some men and get them home/scrappy and make some £££

If I saw it I think I'd have gotten my trailer and just took it. That's fair game - finders keepers - right?

I love this sort of thing!

I served my apprenticeship working at J.N. Harley Engineering Ltd where we restored vintage Rolls Royce cars.

We turned 3ft of rotting chassis into this…….

The earliest surviving and ex-Arthur Henry Briggs, Founding Director of Rolls-Royce Ltd.

Rolls Royce keep every single build record of all the cars they produce and using this information my boss was able to identify the actual chassis number because of some scoring marks on the cross member from the transmission brake. This particular early ghost was the only car to suffer this damage.

The crankcase in this car came from the remains of its older sibling which was found in New Zealand and if I remember correctly was sold for $50,000 for the crank, sump and crankcase!

Always worth having a dig around stuff.  I always get on my hands and knees to look at old farm carts!-you never know what you might find!
