I was just wondering who anybody on here has met thats famous? I hadn't met anyone special till 2 weeks ago and then suddenly Damon hill popped into the go kart track where i work with the kids followed by mr walkers crisps himself gary lineker today.  8O  sadly i wasn't allowed to talk to damon hill but i had a good chat with gary. And his ears aren't all that bad though the fake tan was a bit off putting.

I've met Dolf Lungdren (Rocky V - the blonde russian boxer).  He was out in South Africa filming and one of the chaps in our bike club invited him for a ride out to Cosmos.  Was brilliant, found him very quiet and reserved (mind you, that was before we plied him with copious amounts of alcohol), he signed loads of autographs for kids who thought he was Mr Universe or something (1987 this was - my grey matter is going a bit now!).

Oh Evil Nine: they played at last weekend's music festival too. My friend went up and told them she loved them. Awww…

- all of Velvet Revolver (Slash, Scott Weiland, Duff, Matt Sorum and that guy from Suicidal Dendencies) and Stone Temple Pilots (but not many Brits know them)
- Kylie Minogue, in her hometown (mine too!)
- Andrew Daddo (look, he was the Ant & dec equivalent in Australia for about….2 years…ahem…)
- all of OK Go

I've also managed to interview a few bands: Electric Six, Editors, Bloc Party, Keane….I forget who else…

…and I used to work in the office which had been converted from a gym, and it was the gym that Diana was snapped doing a workout in. I understand this is flimsy.

dannyboyblue : go the Hoff! Good effort!!

I have met a few but can't name them due to it all being work related :( and if I did I would get sacked.

My Cousin on the other hand works for a PR company in London and has met so many famous ppl that she forgets them but the list includes David Tennant  Dr Who (and the cast there of) Robbie Williams, the 1966 world cup side at last world cup and the england team at the time, The Gallaghers + partners, Paul Gasgoine, Sharon, Ozzy, Kelly and Jack Osbourne (at the mansion), Andrew Lloyd Webber and all the judges from Maria, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh and her list goes on and on and on.

Can anyone top this?

I met Michael Buble in an ice cream parlour in Sydney Harbour, AND recommended which ice creams were best… He even didn't mind being called American, which is always a good sign (he's Canadian)…

clearly not, but micheal biggs is "infamous" surely? hes a very nice guy, chated with him at London bridge station four about 30 minutes while we waited for a train, he was off to Belmarsh to visit his pop, how ironic he was travelling by train!!!

Very impressive folks! I've only met one, Steven Tompkinson who was in Ballykissangel, Brassed Off etc…saw me recognise him, came over and shook my hand! Jolly nice chap. I was staggering home with my mate at 2am
I also saw that horizontally challenged bloke, 'Dave' off The Full Monty shopping in York once!
Oh and my sister touched Robbie Williams' bum when they were starting out 'dancing' in clubs before they got famous  8O

was merely attempting to be funny TotR apologies if I caused offence to you.

I do find it quite ironic that Michael Biggs was travelling by train to see his father but not wanting to be controversial I do feel that the old man should have been released recently and not just transferred to a low security open prison as the man is clearly no longer a threat to society and as he is terminally ill I feel he should be allowed to live out his last in the arms of his family

I met John McEnroe a few years ago and he spoke to me as well ….
He said "Where's my f***ing pasta?"

I was a chef at the Masters tennis in Sydney and he'd just got knocked out really really early, thats why his pasta wasn't cooked

I once got barged out of the way by Thorda Heard at Kingscross station, many moons ago; apparently she was very late and famous, so by rights could board before the rest of the ming mongs.

Rude old bat.
