Edition 38 please read.

hi guys,

As you all know e38 is a top show, and i think it would be great if this year we had a club stand there, and they are asking for clubs to give numbers of cars attending, please let me know asap if anyone would be interested in this, i could sort out the club banners and stuff, with whatever Drew has in mind, its not about what show condition your car is in, its about the mk1 owners club, and being there to enjoy the day.

When is it Darren ? I went last year on the Saturday for jumble bargains and came back with nowt , good show though .

its on the 3-4 september in northampton, best show in the uk to date.

Drop Hairyarse a PM, he is the Club Events Co-ordinator. VW Action is the same weekend and does not soley concentrate on modified cars.

since when as edition38 concentrate only on modified cars ??????? would love you to tell me when you last sat in at a  edition38 crew meeting i cant remember you being there ? theres are loads of standad cars there some of the best concors cars about ray parmers mk2 , daves driver, matts jetta, my campain, and many  more cos we dont have them all like little soliders lined up in rows like evry other show you just need to walk round them all and fine them. this way everybodys car gets looked at. not just the show stoppers .theres northing worse then people walking past peoples cars  (that they have spent hours getting ready) just to get to see a show stopper (weater modded or not) and not give a look at anything else , everybodys car deserves the same treatment   weather it cost 40k to mod or 10 pounds the buy wheel paint !
 this year they will be even more we got over 250 club cars on saterday and 300! on the sunday that s without  the show cars that are not going on club stands  8O and it willbe same as last year with the cars being the stars, with traders round the outside,even the club displays go in to the middle and not just dumped out of the way  spk to clair from the vr6 owners club and she ll tell you frist hand how clubs are made wellcome and feel part of the show

Not got your PM yet Darren! :wink:  I've not done this show but sounds good - esp. as Northampton is not too far away from me.

At end of day I hope we will be in the position to cater for club attendance and most applicable shows - at the moment it is a case of getting the banners done and quick enough.

Will liase with Drew and keep you guys updated. Darren, if you (or anyone else that matter) has any further info I may need on this please PM me.
