Crikey, you've been busy......

…while I've been away getting a good suntan.
I did manage to log on to the site while away in the sun, but the connection was so slow it was unbearable. Now trying to catch up on all the activity………

Of the six Mk1 cabrios I found in Gran Canaria three of them never moved and the calling cards are still on them……and they were rather tatty - wonder if they've been dumped?

Hired a Mk3 and a Mk4 Cab while out there and my opinion is……….give me a Mk1 any time !!! The Mk3 had a shot gearbox - move the gearlever in any general direction and hope it did not find reverse !!! And no guts in either of them.

Have given both of our cars a good blast - oh the joys of being behind the wheel of the GTI again !!!!! I really missed it.
