Committee

Yes its another post by me. Have been away for a bit so catching up.

Have you any thoughts as to when a formal committee ought to be set up Drew. I am still happy to be treasurer.  

Perhaps sometime in the New Year  :?:

Need to decide on what committee members we need :

Chairman
Secretary
Treasurer
Register representatives
Publicity Officer??

I thought the new year was a good time scale. Let's get Christmas out of the way. Got you down for the treasurer though :wink: !!

Fortunately guys we will not need either VAT registration, unless our turnover exceeds ?57,000 - dream land territory. Not saying it won't in the future though - all things are possible.

As we will be a non profit making organisation any surplus money we make will be tax free (other than any interest on bank balances). This is because we can not make money out of ourselves as all paid up members has an equal share of the pot.

Oh it is such fun this accountancy lark.  

As they say a good accoutant will always reply with the answer "what do you want it to be" when asked the question "how much profit have I made" :?:
